Joan Baez, John Sebastian et al. Set for Kimmel Center Presents

Joan Baez and John Sebastian are among folk and bluegrass artists who will be featured at the Kimmel Center in October as part of the Kimmel Center Presents series.

Joan Baez will perform works from her new album, Day After Tomorrow, October 22. Bassist Edgar Meyer and mandolinist/violinist Chris Thile will bring their self-titled debut to the stage, October 22. Bluegrass mandolinist, David Grisman, will reunite with John Sebastian, founder of The Lovin’ Spoonful, October 9. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys will open for Grisman and Sebastian.
