Charles Hagerty, Paul Schoefler, Jennifer Hope Wills Set for Walnut’s Aspects of Love

Walnut Street Theatre has announced casting for its season opener, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects of Love, to run September 6-October 23, with an opening on September 14. Bruce Lumpkin will direct.

Set against the background of 1940’s France and Italy, Alex Dillingham, a young student traveling through France, falls in love with the alluring actress Rose Vibert. As the pair embarks on a passionate affair, the unexpected arrival of Alex’s uncle changes their lives forever.

The cast will star Jennifer Hope Wills (Rose Vibert), Charles Hagerty (Alex Dillingham), and Paul Schoefler (George Dillingham), along with Danielle G. Herbert (Giulietta Trapani), Laurent Giroux (Marcel Richard), Jenna Brooke Scannelli (Jenny Dillingham), Denise Whelan (Elizabeth), Denis Lambert (Hugo LeMeunier) and Peter Schmitz (Jerome). Local child actors Arin Edelstein and Claire Norden will share the role of Young Jenny.

The ensemble will include Michael Brian Dunn, Daniel Lynn Evans, Liz Filios, Marissa K. Hines, Denis Lambert, Shaun Parry, Chad Parsons, Rebecca Robbins, Kerri Rose, Peter Schmitz, Denise Whelan and Dana Winkle.

The production team will include choreographer Michelle Gaudette, musical director Douglass G. Lutz, scenic designer John Farrell, lighting designer Jack Jacobs, sound designer David Temby, and costume designer Colleen Grady.
