Broadway and television star Tony Danza's A&E reality TV show, Teach, in which he will co-teach a 10th-grade English class in Philadelphia, will debut on October 1. The series will air for seven episodes.

Danza received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Dubuque in Iowa in 1972 before embarking on a professional acting career. Danza's stage credits include The Producers, The Iceman Cometh, and A View from the Bridge. He has also performed his nightclub act at many popular venues, including Feinstein's at Loews Regency.

In addition to hosting his own talk show, his television credits include the popular sitcoms Who's The Boss? and Taxi.
