New City Stages Announces 2009-2010 Season

New City Stages has announced their offerings for the 2009-2010 season, to be presented at the Adrienne Theater.

The season will open with Brad Fraser’s Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love, September 24-October 18, a dark comedy about sexually frustrated thirty-somethings who try to learn the meaning of love, while living in fear of a serial killer. Ryder Thornton will direct. William Roudebush will direct Mark Medoff’s When You Comin’ Back Red Ryder, December 4-January 11, which details an unusual day at a New Mexico Rest Stop when an upscale couple and an unbalance Vietnam War Vet and his hippie girlfriend ignite a messy situation.

The season will close with A Couple of White Chicks Sittin’ Around Talking, February 11-March 7, John Ford Noonan’s two-character comedy about two housewives who learn about life, love, and their incorrect assumptions about each other. Roudebush will direct.
