The Kander and Ebb musical is a satire on corruption in the criminal justice system and the 'celebrity criminal' during the Prohibition Era.

Guarini's Broadway credits include American Idiot and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. In addition, he recently starred in Surflight Theatre's production of Rent. He was a runner-up on season one of American Idol, and has released two solo albums.
