Actors Tony Braithwaite, Forrest McClendon, and Rob McClure will be among the guest artists who will take part in Philadelphia Theatre Company‘s ActOut Summer Conservatory, to run July 9-August 12.

The intensive four-week Conservatory is designed for teens with some theatrical background who are interested in experiencing the fun of creating an original one-act play through an ensemble process. It culminates in a “world-premiere” of the students’ work on the PTC stage at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre.

Additional guests artists will include directors Jen Childs and Matt Pfeiffer; and playwrights Jackie Goldfinger, Bruce Graham, and Michael Hollinger.

Faculty members from the theater departments of Temple University and University of the Arts as well as PTC’s own Producing Artistic Director, Sara Garonzik, will provide expert critiques and guidance for the students’ work.
