One Life to Live‘s Tom Degnan to Star in Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival has announced additional details for its 21st season.

Former One Life to Live and As the World Turns cast member Tom Degnan will play Brick Pollitt in Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Don John in William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, which will run in repertory. Much Ado, directed by James J. Christy, will begin July 11; Cat, directed by Thomas Ouellete, will begin July 19. Additional casting will be announced.

William Michals and Dee Roscioli will star in Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, to run June 13-July 1.

The season also includes productions of The Tempest (June 20-July 15), King John (July 25-August 5), and family shows Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (June 1-August 4) and Shakespeare for Kids (July 25-August 4).

Previously announced concerts include Michals in Broadway in Concert II (June 24), Wayne S. Turney in The Gospel According to Saint Mark (July 23), and Victoria Clark Live in Concert on July 30.
