Kevin Bergen, Sylvia Kauders Set for Plays & Players Reading of An Ideal Husband
Plays & Players will celebrate its 100th Anniversary on Monday, May 14 at 7pm with a staged reading of Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband, featuring a host of local celebrities of stage, screen, and politics.
Daniel Student will direct the production, which will feature theater stars Sylvia Kauders, Madi Distefano, Amanda Schoonover, Kevin Bergen, and Kash Goins, Plays & Players former board member Ray Smith and current board member Jennifer MacMillan, Fox 29 Good Day co-anchor Karen Hepp, the Philadelphia Magic Gardens’ Isaiah Zagar, City Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown, Revenue Commissioner Keith Richardson, Tangier’s owner Jack Roe, and Delancey Place resident Bill Melton.
A meet-the-artists reception will be held following the performance.
