Acclaimed writer-director Robert Lepage’s The Andersen Project will make its East Coast premiere, presented by the Kimmel Center at the Merriam Theater of the University of the Arts, June 11-13.

Inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen’s stories “The Dryad” and “The Shadow,” as well as anecdotes drawn from the famed Danish author’s Parisian travels, this one-man show will star French-Canadian actor Yves Jacques.

Lepage is the founder of Ex Machina, a multidisciplinary production company, which has produced critically acclaimed works, including The Seven Streams of the River Ota, Elsinore, Geometry of Miracles, and The Far Side of the Moon.
