Flashpoint Theatre Company has announced cast and creative team information for their upcoming production of Douglas Carter Beane's The Little Dog Laughed, set to play at the Second Stage at the Adrienne,May 6-30. Meghann Williams will direct.

The play is a satire of Hollywood ambition, truth, and illusion in America's celebrity-obsessed culture. It centers around Mitchell, a rising Hollywood star if his agent Diane has anything to do with it. All she has to do is keep him in the closet. The cast will feature Karen Getz as Diane, Aime Kelly as Ellen, Matt Lorenz as Mitchell, and Sean Thompson as Alex.

Little Dog Laughed received a Tony nomination for Best Play. Beane was also Tony-nominated for his book to the musical Xanadu, and his other plays include Dancing in the Dark and As Bees in Honey Drown.
