Brian Stokes Mitchell to Perform at Philadelphia Theatre Company Gala

Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will perform at Philadelphia Theatre Company’s annual gala, to be held at The Hyatt at the Bellevue on Monday, April 30 beginning at 6pm.

The event will honor Bala Cynwyd residents Marilyn and J. Robert Birnhak for their many years of support to both Philadelphia Theatre Company and its home, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre.

Mitchell received a Tony Award for his role as Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate. In addition, he was Tony-nominated for his performances in Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, and King Hedley II. He most recently appeared on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. His television credits include Glee, Ugly Betty, Crossing Jordan and Frasier.
