Mary Martello to Perform Solo Show Happily Ever After at Adrienne Theatre

Mary Martello will perform her solo show Happily Ever After at The Adrienne Theatre, running March 4-28. Jennifer Childs will direct the production, which will feature musical direction by Eric Ebbenga.

In the piece, Martello explores the question of what constitutes the traditional end of fairy tales by offering her own versions of the stories behind such classics as Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty, and Peter Pan. The production will feature both classic and original songs.

Four-time Barrymore Award winner Martello has worked with such groups as the Arden, Interact, the Prince Music Theatre, the Walnut Theatre, and the Wilma Theatre in Philadelphia in addition to companies in New York and New Jersey, including Light Opera of Manhattan, the Public, Passage Theatre, Theatre Intime, and McCarter Theatre.
