Philadelphia Theatre Workshop Announces Second Annual PlayShop Festival

Philadelphia Theatre Workshop has announced the line-up for their second annual PlayShop Festival, March 7-22, which will present works in repertory over several weekend performances, while the playwrights, directors, and cast have opportunities to develop the work during the week.

This year’s productions include Catherine Rush’s The Loudest Man on Earth, to be directed by Jay Wahl; Joe Byers’ Noori and the Infidels, with Meghann Williams at the helm; Solitary by Lee Colston II, which will feature direction by Jane Stojak; and Traveling Light by Lindsay Harris Friel with direction by Rebecca Wright. Nearly 40 artists, including actors, directors, and designers will present these four developing plays.
