People’s Light & Theatre Announces Cast, Creative Team for A Tale of Two Cities

People’s Light & Theatre Company has announced cast and creative team information for their upcoming production of A Tale of Two Cities, to be presented March 11-May 3. Ken Marini will direct.

Dwayne Hartford’s version of Charles Dickens’ novel is a classic tale of justice and revenge set against the backdrop of the French Revolution in late eighteenth-century Paris and London. The cast will feature Kevin Bergen as Sydney Carton, Michael Stewart Allen as Charles Darnay, Stephen Novelli as Doctor Manette, Julianna Zinkel as Lucie Manette, Peter DeLaurier as Defarge, Mary Elizabeth Scallen as Madame Defarge, Marcia Saunders as Miss Pross, Paul Meshejian as Marquis, Tom Teti as Mr. Lorry, and Mark Lazar as Gaspard.

The creative team will include Marla J. Jurglanis (costume design), Paul Hackenmueller (lighting design), Anton Marini (multimedia design), Sarah Mantell (dramaturg), and James F. Pyne, Jr. (set design).
