Robert Prosky to Host Benefit for Walnut Street Theatre

Philadelphia native Robert Prosky will host A Life in the Spotlight: An Evening with Robert Prosky, a one-night benefit for the Walnut Street Theatre’s Education and Outreach programs on Monday, February 25.

The event will feature highlights of Prosky’s 50-year career on stage and screen. From his days growing up in Manayunk to Broadway and beyond, audience members will be treated to the inside scoop about his theatrical productions, film roles, co-stars, and backstage adventures.

Prosky is currently appearing in the Walnut’s production of Arthur Miller’s The Price, which will transfer to Theater J in Washington D.C. in early March. He is a two-time Tony nominee for Glengarry Glen Ross and A Walk in the Woods; he has also been seen on Broadway in Democracy, Twelve Angry Men, and A View from the Bridge. His film and television credits include Hill Street Blues, Dead Man Walking, and Mrs. Doubtfire.
