Evan Jonigkeit and Mahira Kakkar to Star in Arden’s Romeo and Juliet

Arden Theatre Company has announced casting for its production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, to run February 25-April 11. Matt Pfeiffer will direct.

Evan Jonigkeit and Mahira Kakkar star in the play’s title roles, with the cast also including Krista Apple (Lady Montague), Shawn Fagan (Mercutio), Melanye Finister (Lady Capulet), Scott Greer (Lord Capulet), James William Ijames (Benvolio), Sean Lally (Tybalt), Anthony Lawton (Friar Laurence), Matt Lorenz (Paris), Suzanne O’Donnell (Nurse), Brian Anthony Wilson (Prince), and Frank X (Lord Montague).

The creative team will include Brian Sidney Bembridge (set), Rosemarie E. McKelvey (costumes), Thom Weaver (lighting), James Sugg (sound), and Dale Anthony Girard (fight director).
