Upper Darby Summer Stage presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr., a magical adaptation of the Broadway musical, animated film, and live action movie.
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out; if the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Summer Stage concludes it season with an all time favorite!
The Walnut Street Theatre is proud to present Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The holiday magic begins when a troupe of actors appear at the historic Walnut Street Theatre to set up and perform the heartwarming tale of Ebenezer Scrooge. Audiences know this grumpy old miser's response to holiday cheer is "bah, humbug." Scrooge is a bitter old man who can no longer feel joy or affection, even for his family. But on one remarkable Christmas Eve, he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. With their help, can Scrooge change his ways?
