Casting Set for Buck County Playhouse's Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story

Hunter Foster will direct the musical.

Full casting has been announced for Bucks County Playhouse and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts' production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Directed by Hunter Foster and choreographed by Lorin Latarro, Buddy will run at Bucks County Playhouse May 27-June 17 and will then transfer to the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater June 24-July 9.

John Dewey leads the cast in the title role, alongside Zach Cossman as Jerry Allison, Andrew Frace as Hipockets Duncan, James David Larson as Joe B. Mauldin, Kent M. Lewis as Norman Petty, Brandi Massey as Apollo Performer, Elizabeth Nestlerode as Vi Petty, Karak Osborn as the Big Bopper, Gilbert Sanchez as Ritchie Valens, Max Sangerman as Tommy Allsupp, and Natalie Ortega as Maria Elena.

Paul Masse serves as musical director, with Adam Koch as scenic designer, Gina Scherr as lighting design, Nicole V. Moody as costume designer, and Matthew Given as sound designer.
