American Idol and Broadway alum Justin Guarini (Romeo and Juliet) will open Bucks County Playhouse's Winter Concert Series with two performances of Justin Guarini: Lovesick over Valentine's Day weekend, on February 14 and 15. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, Guarini describes Lovesick as a "tribute to all the crazy places love has taken him." From Burt Bacharach to Beck to Ben Folds, the singer/actor will offer audiences a combination of songs and stories, accompanied by a nine-piece band, to recount his romantic past.

Tony winner Leslie Uggams will then make her Bucks County debut the following weekend in An Evening With Leslie Uggams on February 22, where she will perform a collection of her signature numbers from throughout her theatrical career. Uggams made her Broadway debut in 1967 in Hallelujah, Baby!, for which she earned a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She has since appeared in a number of Broadway plays and musicals including Her First Roman, Blues in the Night, Jerry's Girls, Anything Goes, King Hedley II, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and On Golden Pond. The concert will be directed by Michael Bush.
