WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
John Van Druten's Voice of the Turtle, written in the 1940's, is a classic American romantic comedy revolving around a young actress and the on-leave soldier she meets. Add a wise-cracking friend and you have one of the most enduring and, for its time, progressive plays of the American theatre.
