When a team of scientists studying toque macaques in Sri Lanka are invaded by a crew of documentary filmmakers, sexual tensions erupt and egos collide. Incorporating puppet work to create a uniquely theatrical world of primate behavior, Serendib ponders the line between empathy and anthropomorphism.
