Aaron Lazar, from Broadway's Les Miserables and Light in the Piazza, will appear with the Cincinnati Pops on August 1 for a concert celebrating the songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The evening will include not only selections from the team's musicals, but also Rodgers' score for Victory at Sea.

Lazar is no stranger to the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. He appeared as Lt. Cable in South Pacific in a concert version of the show at the Hollywood Bowl. He also played Billy Bigelow in Carousel in concert with Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops. Joining Lazar on August 1 will be soprano Kathleen Brett and baritone Daniel Narducci.
