Composed and conceived by Phil Kline, Zippo Songs: Airs of War and Lunacy is a song cycle based on a range of sources including the poems GIs inscribed on their Zippo lighters during the Vietnam War, Donald Rumsfeld speeches, and the poetry of David Shapiro. Emma Griffin directs for Salt Theater.
