Two dynamic dance companies from opposite sides of the globe join forces with the New York Premiere of their evening-length piece You Are So Beautiful, presented by Japan Society. Philadelphia's Headlong Dance Theater, renowned for their razor sharp wit, and Arrow Dance Communication, one of Japan's emerging favorites, offer an energetic performance as these two award-winning companies delve into the humor and complexities of cross-cultural communication.

Born of the media-saturated, hyper-capitalist climate of both Japan and America, You Are So Beautiful journeys into life as a physical weblog, which explores comprehension, culture shock, and chaos. Using the human body as a wireless content provider, Arrow Dance Company joins Headlong Dance Theater in an attempt to seize control of the cultural karaoke machine.
