WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Mujeres en el Encierro (Women in Confinement) directed by María Morett, is a play written from the gut, with piercing expression, filled with compassion for women imprisoned. Powerful images and strong acting combine, creating beautiful metaphors. Passion, hope, abandonment and solitude -- where silence speaks and cruel reality becomes sublime allegory.
