Retro Productions and The Bleecker Theater Company are proud to present two performances of Women and War by Jack Hilton Cunningham to celebrate its publication by Baker's Plays (an imprint of Samuel French, Inc.). This readers theater piece (in the vein of The Exonerated) explores the effects of war on American women through letters and monologues of the women who not only sign on as nurses, telephone operators, and "donut gals" but also the wives and mothers left behind.
