WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Nine Nights of Creative Disobedience. A pre-convention festival of hoots, howls, music, rap, dance, comedy, cabaret, and poetry.

7:00pm "Tea for Three" by Eric Weinberger & Elaine Bromka
8:30pm Anthony Burgess' "A Clockwork Orange," by the Godlight Theatre Company

Thursday 8/26
7:00pm "girlstory": a multigenerational choreopoem featuring Menaka Menon, Mauricia Mullings, Jasmin Morales, Chastity Seda, Lisa Ascalon and Ellen Hagen
8:30pm Youngblood: Work by members of EST's emerging playwrights company, including Ross Maxwell, Sharyn Rothstein, and Phil Schmiedl
11:00pm "Creative Disobedience Cabaret": an unpredictable array of bellowing, rapping, singing, dancing and celebration of free speech.
