WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Sammy Glick runs again in a newly revised version of the 1964 Broadway musical, What Makes Sammy Run? Based on the best-selling novel by Budd Schulberg and featuring a revised book by writer-director Robert Armin and additional songs by composer-lyricist Ervin Drake, this chamber musical production eliminates the dancing ensemble and numerous secondary characters and interpolates two Schulberg characters not in the original production, Rosalie Goldbaum and Billie Rand.
