The Unofficial New York Yale Cabaret (UNYYC), kicks off its second exciting season with Wendy's Words, a World Premiere stage adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein's essays. Approved by the playwright's estate, Wendy's Words gives an intimate portrait of the woman behind award winning plays such as The Heidi Chronicles and An American Daughter. The adaptation, by Becky London and Mahayana Landowne, offers Ms. Wasserstein's distinctive and often comedic observations on the obstacles faced by empowered women in securing love, respect and security in modern day New York City.
