The John Montgomery Theatre Company presents We Call Her Benny, a new play written and directed by Suzanne Bachner.
We Call Her Benny features a 10-actor ensemble and bold theatrical techniques to create a visceral, exhilarating and kaleidoscopic portrait of one adopted woman's struggle for identity and intimacy. Themes of replacement and betrayal saturate the play, which explores family, identity, illness, adoption, sexuality and intimacy.
