Horse Trade Theater Group presents presents writer-performer Steve Greenstein's acclaimed solo show Voices From the Holy...and Not So Holy Land. The play offers a behind-the-headlines look at Israel and the Jewish Diaspora through humorous and poignant experiences of nine distinct characters. The action spans the voice of a car salesman in The San Fernando Valley, his mother who lives on Long Island and a young Arab woman disguised as a Jew in Jerusalem. Greenstein presents the complexity of a dynamic nation as it affects Jews, Christians, and Arabs in Israel and the United States.
