WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Voices from the Holy-and Not so Holy Land offers a behind-the-headlines look at Israel and the Jewish diaspora through the humorous and poignant experiences of nine distinct characters. In voices ranging from a California car salesman whose mother lives on Long Island to a young Arab woman disguised as a Jew in Jerusalem, Greenstein presents the complexity of a dynamic nation as it affects Jews, Christians, and Arabs in Israel and the United States. The play includes the perspectives of Israelis, Palestinians, and American Jews, each reflecting their own experiences relating to the peace process in the Middle East.
