WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Visions and Voices Short Play Festival is a perfect evening of comedy, horror, poetic realism, and suspense by seven new writers. What is it like to live with a Superhero? How do you repair a family when one member has become a part of the couch? What happened to the 'hot girls' when they retired? Are being clever and defying conventions just another way to avoid potential for greatness? What happens to a bond when a vital secret is withheld? How can you stop someone from making the biggest, and maybe last, mistake of their life? ... Forget Me Not by Bettina Warshaw; directed by Jamal Jordan ... Assisted Living by Elizabeth Fuhr; directed by Caitie Cunningham ... To the Moon by Nina Concepcion; directed by Allison Frederich ... Issue Number One by Michael Grant; directed by Sabrina Lloyd ... Three of a Kind by Steven Laing; directed by Jessica Schwartz ... To the Edge We Run by Daniella Benavides; directed by Bettina Warshaw ... Wife vs. Superhero by Stephen Brown; directed by James Masciovecchio ... A 2009 Intern Project of Merit Theater and Film Group & 13th Street Repertory Company. Produced, Written, Directed, Stage Managed, Designed, Executed and Performed by the 2009 Interns.
