WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Russian playwright Michael Ferraro's Vera and Olga - Two Sisters by the Sea is a romantic tragedy, which takes place in a Northern Russian fishing village. The staged reading is to be performed in English by professional American actors. It was given its first professional performance in September 2002 in the chamber-theatre of the Lensoviet Theatre, St. Petersburg, Russia, where it has received subsequent performances. It has also been performed at the Stanislavsky Building for Actors, St. Petersburg, Russia; and at the St. Petersburg, Christmas Parade Festival, 2002.
