Exposing long-veiled family secrets--the forbidden love of a 1918 Japanese picture bride, the arranged marriage and "bride-burning" of an Indian aunt, an American housewife's ironic plight-- UNbridLeD shatters the notion of idealized wedded bliss. Artistic Director Darcy Naganuma joins forces with Eboni Hogan (2007 Nuyorican Grand Slam Poet) and multimedia designer Linda Brieda to deliver a vibrant, refreshingly kinetic evening.
