WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

H-I-R Productions presents True Stories From the ER That You're Never Gonna See on Television, which first premiered as part of the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival. The production is a funny and frightening view from the gurney of Emergency Rooms everywhere and a look at American society from the 1950s through today, from the perspective of patients and loved ones of patients in moments of crisis.

The show is written and performed by Rob Bronstein, a longtime veteran of the vibrant Chicago theater scene. This world premier performance is Mr. Bronstein's first stage appearance since undergoing spinal surgery on June 16, 2003, and he has incorporated his rehearsal process into his physical therapy regimen. Sound effects and scoring for the production will be provided live by Ethan Hein.
