David Danielovich, bamboozled by hustlers, bookies, and a dance hall girl, unwittingly becomes a championship boxer in this 1930's knockout hit. Rapid-fire dialogue, ebullient dances, ridiculous puppetry, true love, and boxing. "Fred and Ginger of the prize-fight circuit." (London Observer)
