WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

An Important New Play with an Israeli Perspective. Based on the letters of Yoni Netanyahu and personal accounts of the men he led and the woman he loved, To Pay the Price weaves a complex portrait of an extraordinary man struggling to live an ordinary life. Reliving one of the greatest military rescue missions of all time, the play illuminates the toll to a nation of a never-ending war. It is the inspiring story of a genuine hero who grapples with the very notion of what it means to be a hero. Presented as part of the Festival of Jewish Theater and Ideas by Untitled Theater Company #61. Directed by Robert Kalfin (Founder and Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Chelsea Theater Center); Original Music and Sound Design by Aaron Diehl; Set Design by Tony Andrea; Lighting Design by Paul Hudson; Costume Design by Rebecca J. Bernstein.
