Renowned performance artist Peggy Shaw returns to NYC for the world premiere of To My Chagrin. This is the story of how Shaw learns to communicate with her mixed-race grandson. Along the way, she discovers what it means to create a family. As she questions how images and information are passed down through the generations, she is forced to confront her own inherited history of racism. The show is directed by Lois Weaver and stars Shaw and Vivian Stoll.
