WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
American Globe Theatre celebrates its' 21st season as Times Square's longest running classical theatre with Titus Andronicus, the revenge tragedy by William Shakespeare. It all begins when victorious general, Titus Andronicus, returns to Rome with hostages: Tamora, Queen of the Goths and her sons. Then ensuing maelstrom serves up tongue, hands, rape, adultery, racism and Goth-meat pie. Not for the faint of heart. With this rarely seen classic, Artistic Director and Shakespearean author John Basil, explores man's inhumanity to man and how it relates and resonates with a modern day audience.

RE:Must see for Shakespeare fans
If you are a scholar/teacher/fan of Shakespeare, take advantage of seeing this rarely performed play. Very good acting, loved the sets and costuming--very effective. The company didnt shy away from the violence, nor did they let the violence be the star. The emotions rang true. Im recommending to all of my students.
