Though the current circumstances might be unique, the universality of the war experience is undeniable. Using a compilation of short plays, letters, political speeches and journalistic accounts, Through War Torn Eyes examines America's recurring war experience from World War I through our current situation. Far from being a history lesson, the play explores the build-up, actuality and fallout of our past wars and delves into the heart of a nation that risks its young for causes it believes--and sometimes doesn't believe--in as it once again prepares for battle.
