WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The New York Innovative Theatre Awards (the IT Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, is presenting Theatre of Performance Art devoting March 18th and 19th to illuminating the extraordinary, eclectic and often controversial theatre often called "performance art." For 2 performances only some of the revolutionary artists who first began this movement such as Penny Arcade and Richard Foreman will be joined by some of the extraordinary artists who are currently performing such as Taylor Mac, Nicky Paraiso, The NY Neo-Futurists and Bindlestiff Family Cirkus.
