The Metropolitan Playhouse presents an extremely rare staging of The Woman, by William C. deMille. The 1911 political thriller is the story of a switchboard operator in a Washington hotel who knows the one secret that could unravel the reputation of a popular, rising-star politician in line to become Speaker of the House.
