The Oberon Theatre Ensemble opens its fifth season with a fresh look at the mystical world of William Shakespeare?s The Winter?s Tale, directed by Eric Parness. Welcome to the land of Sicilia, a place where magic and technology both exist in delicate balance. When new technological advances threaten to extinguish all traces of magic throughout the land, Time itself strikes back at the empire?s King, poisoning his soul with a dark jealousy that drives him to destroy what he loves most. Years later, a chance for redemption will emerge from the King of Bohemia, a land untouched by Sicilia?s dangerous technologies. But can the King?s wounds ever be truly healed?
