WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A timeless story of a son's seeking his mother's love and approval and the depths of despair he is driven to in order to attain it, The Vortex was nearly banned at the time of its West End premiere in 1924. Drugs, sex, and marital infidelity mix in this story of 1920's London that catapulted the 24-year-old Noel Coward to stardom. Innocent Theatre presents the play, directed by Trip Cullman.
