The View From Here features a book, music, and lyrics by Timothy Huang. From NYMF '04 Audience-Award-Winning writer Timothy Huang comes a new one-act musical about creativity and resilience in the face of tragic events. A writer arrives in his white-walled, sixth floor walk-up in New York, ready to tenaciously take on the city and get his novel published. Recounting his various misadventures in a series of letters to his love back home, he is forced to deal with the people he left behind before he can move forward. In a musical that is at once funny, and poignant, exhilarating, and tragic, The View From Here will receive its World Premiere in NYMF '05.
