In The Turtle Tattoo, a burned-out emergency medical technician finds sanctuary from painful personal memories and the horrors of his job through his weekly volunteering at a turtle sanctuary on a Queens beach. However, even there, his demons continue to haunt both him and the attractive marine biologist he works with -- who's carrying some pretty heavy emotional baggage of her own. A dramatic and surreal love story. Playwright Jonathan Wallace is an EMT who based many of the incidents described on his own experiences.
