The New York Actors Ensemble in association with Workshop Theater Company
presents The Tragedie of Macbeth which dispenses with modern trappings and politically correct messages and envisions this timeless tale of ambition
and regret as it might have been done in Shakespeare's time. With clanging
broadswords and mystic apparitions this faithful rendering will engage the
most sophisticated listener and demonstrate to New York theatergoers that
Shakespeare can be thrilling and fun. More importantly -- "There will be
blood!"
