WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Juggling, Rivalry and Silliness: all will be on full display this summer, when The Three of Clubs, a fresh young trio of circus comedians from Brooklyn, come to the East Village Connelly Theater, under the umbrella of The NYC Fringe Festival's FRINGE JR.

With the clock ticking, the boys know they have a show to put on, but nothing seems to go as planned. They're late. They're devious. They're ruthless in their drive to outdo each other, and unfortunately prone to accidents. "The Three of Clubs" race to keep up with their show of juggling, magic, unicycling and high leaping, but can't stop getting in each other's way. Joe wants, just once, to have a perfect show. Julien only wants to have fun. And Dan wants - Dan needs - to take over the world, one bowler hat a time.

This Fringe JR show is aimed at pleasing both kids, their parents, and anyone else who enjoys physical comedy. There's audience participation - for those who want - there's improvisation, and there's deft juggling and other antics, all moving at a breathless pace. Under the direction of Gila Sand, the trio is comprised of teenaged performers Joe Willens, Dan McMahon and Julien Rossant.
