WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

This is Shakespeare's last and greatest play, The Tempest. Directed by veteran Shakespearean director Kelly Johnston, this production features The Secret Theater's own Artistic Director, Richard Mazda, as Prospero, in his debut in the new Big Secret. In this director Kelly Johnston tells the story in the tradition of Peter Brook's Empty Space. It's all about actors, text, and audience. The space is only created to allow the audience to dream with the actors. Filled with magic and mischief, The Tempest is a story of warring siblings, forbidden love, vengeance, and forgiveness. True to its name, the play is a testament to the stormy nature of human relationships.
